Bosco visited Cathay Pacific's flight catering facility in Vancouver and got to taste some amazing dishes and wines served in First Class and Business Class. Richmond's 1st Perfect Pie Competition held on 23 June was part of the Grand Opening of the new Richmond Visitor's Centre, tucked inside the charming old postal shop on Moncton Street. This heritage building is both a museum and a Canada Post. Deborah was one of 6 celebrity judges at this inaugural event. Every visitor got a slice of pie after the competition.

The Spot Prawn Festival held on 5th May at Fisherman's Wharf in False Creek was the biggest yet. I spoke to Chef Robert Clark from 'C' restaurant and Lana Gunnlaugson from SeaChoice (who promote sustainable seafood) and ate the freshest prawns ever!...Then I went back and bought more for dinner.
